PLay

While Mackenzie was playing T-Ball the other little ones were playing in the grass and having fun.
Well actually Josh kept running away from us!

Ella and Lucy were throwing grass at each other and rolling around

Since Greg and I were the ones chasing after Josh running away we got a couple of cute shots with him.  I can't believe how big he's getting....time flies.

T-Ball

This year Mackenzie decided to do T-Ball this summer.
She has really enjoyed playing and can't wait to do it again next summer.

She is #5 and doesn't seem to mind wearing the big helmet!
Here she is hitting the ball
She has really improved over the season and loves hitting the ball and playing in the pitchers spot.
Run Home Mackenzie!!

Look at the concentration on her face.

Canada Day 2009

Well it's Canada Day and we went to The Roulston's place for the celebration and it was a blast!
Well at least if we stay away from him....

No just kidding....
No it's not Hooch...this is Hemme and he is friendly, that is after Joshua won the stare down!

So we had a pig roast and Greg couldn't wait to get his hands on some pork!
Yummmmm....PIG
Greg and Shane eating the crackling
Then it was time for some FUN!

Time for the Foam Machine

We had so much fun!
What a wonderful Canada Day

Playing with Orla

We went out to a friend of ours Robin and Don's place for a BBQ.
Uncle Pat and Auntie Jocelyn came with Orla and Sophie their dogs.
Well Orla was the hit with Josh and Lucy all they wanted to do was throw the ball to her.
And well I think she loved it!

Josh getting the ball ready for another throw

Again!!

Swimming

The pool is open!
And yes the water is pretty cold
But it's seem like the kids don't even notice!

So Josh was having a blast with daddy bouncing up and down in the water until ............

We decided let's see what he does if we dunk him!
Yeah he didn't really like it:)
The girls took swimming lessons this year to get them ready for our pool and boy did they pay off.
Greg took Ella in the pool with her life jacket and with a little pep talk and confidence boost she did it she swam on her own!
We are sooooo proud of her.
If you know Ella she LOVES dogs and if she is swimming she has to pretend to be one!
It makes swimming that much easier.

Then we have Mackenzie who just went for it and is doing brilliant.
She loves the water.
We are so proud that her confidence has grown....and especially that our arms are free!

Shools Out

School has finally finished!

Another year over and Mackenzie has completed Grade 1 with flying colours.

She had a wonderful teacher this year Mrs. Cauley.

So for the end of the year gift we decided to be creative!
We made a shool supply pot, full of goodies for her teacher.
They turned out so cute.

Ella has completed Junior Kindergarten this year.  She really enjoyed meeting new friends and having lots of fun.

So we made her teacher Mrs. Smith a school supply pot also and what a hit it was!

Thank you Chimo Elementry for a wonderful year!
We look forward to Grade 2 and Senior Kindergarten in September

Smores Please

So we decided it would be fun to have Smores
The kids were really excited and hey who needs
a campfire when a BBQ can do the trick!

So Ella and Mackenzie were the first to roast their marshmallows.

Mmmmmmm Yummmmm
Lucy loved her Smore

And Josh well he was just happy to eat a marshmallow
